5/31/04-- What's up, Bitches.

  • So I go to Powerman5000.com to see what's going on in the PM5K universe and it's down. I go to Shraz.net and it's gone. I tried searching for other sites, but this was the only one I could find, so I figured I'd try to help out the Powerfans who have suddenly become homeless. Here's a quick run-down of what I know is going on.
  • Anyone for Doomsday? is available.....sort of. I think it was only avaiable as a download through Powerman5000.com, I could be wrong though, let me know if I am.
  • The band is releasing a Rarities CD, it's basically all old-school PM5K, including a few never released songs and some ramblings from Spider.
  • Spider is relaunching Megatronic Records; however, this time it is an independent label, it is not under Dreamworks.
  • I'm almost positive that Powerman has been dropped by Dreamworks, I could be wrong, but the relaunch of Megatronic and the site being down seem to be pretty good indicators. I've been out of the loop for awhile though, so if you can confirm or deny this let me know.
  • I think that's it, in case your wondering, this doesn't mean I'm bringing this site back. I'm exploring a couple of ideas right now, some music related, some not. This is just to help out the PM5K community while the regulars get their act back together. --Revolter
